Authentic. It’s our thing.

  • Our boba is meticulously made from scratch everyday.

  • We use real ingredients like avocado, taro, mango, lychee, and loose leaf teas.

  • We craft our drinks using only pure brown sugar.

  • We’re sticklers for quality by never diluting our teas or using too much ice as fillers.

Why go through all that trouble for boba tea?

OUR STORY
It all started in 2017 with my wife Ai asking me, “Wanna go get some boba?” We both were avid milk tea fans – me since college and Ai since her childhood days growing up in Vietnam.

We put on our sweatshirts (ahem – it’s Daly City after all!) and headed out for our usual boba run. We landed on a spot that you’re probably all too familiar with – close to home but stuck with a franchise or big chain only to get something off the mark from how milk tea was originally intended to taste in Asia.

In 2018, we set out to bring authentic boba tea to our community. We wanted to create a place in the ‘burbs of the Peninsula to make the freshest drink for people who enjoy milk tea – made entirely from scratch. Yes, from scratch.

Ai and I rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Our home kitchen became an experimental laboratory, exploring both traditional and modern recipes while diving deep into every part of the process – even testing temperatures and tweaking concentrations. We went through many iterations with friends and family. When we came up with the tea recipe we felt that there was more that could be done to elevate the drink – and handmade boba from scratch was born.

TODAY
Bobaville is a neighborhood spot where you can be part of the process and watch the creation of artisanal drinks and handmade boba every step of the way. We value transparency so you know we do things right. We want people to know what everything means on the menu. Bobaville’s mission is to offer delicious, handcrafted selections that reflect the spirit of a diverse, multicultural community.

Cheers to keeping it real!

Victor & Ai
